Hey Shilo,
Thanks for the props on the new site. We're with Culture Mob on promoting the existence of all these Seattle Music sites. Yeah there's a heap of 'em but we're all behind the same motivating factor. Getting more of our local music to the ears of the people, and keeping the Seattle music scene a viable (albeit moist and damp) breeding ground for Northwest bands.

People have mentioned that our writings on Seattle Subsonic are more involved than your run-of-the-mill "blog". We're trying to post more than just pictures, soundbites or newsflashes. In the words of our writer, and Bovine Enthusiast, Lord Bison (LB), "I write what I would want to read (which is probably how most journalists approach their job), and I like reading material that's smart, funny, engaging and unpretentious. The standards of any non-motorhead, really."

Kudos to yourselves for keeping the bar elevated above the reach of the motor-head. Culture Mob not only has a finger all up IN the pulse, but the tools to keep the schedules, of even the biggest 'music freaks', sorted.
