Premiere Small Business Event Coming to Seattle June 11

Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence is bringing Make Mine a Million $ Business to Seattle.  On June 11 join over 500 like-minded small business owners with the desire to grow for this one-time opportunity. Washington Governor Chris Gregoire will kick-off the program as hundreds of women business owners throughout the region gather at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion for this premier business event. Twenty award program finalists will be chosen to stand up before the live audience and give three-minute “elevator pitches” explaining why they think their company has what it takes to grow into a $1 million enterprise. Make Mine a Million $ Business will award the 10 most promising businesses.

- Full day event on June 11 at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion
- Keynote speaker Governor Chris Gregoire
- 500 women business-owners from Puget Sound region and beyond 
- Honorary Hosts Senator Maria Cantwell, Senator Patty Murray, Mayor Greg Nickels, King County Executive Ron Sims
- Experts in financing, marketing, technology, business software and insurance inspiring women to grow their businesses
